Camp Pinebrook is a safe and loving place for children to make friends and grow. We strive to ensure that every camper and family feels comfortable and heard. We know that kids learn and socialize in many ways, and it’s important to create space for each to explore at their own pace.
Our SMILE SQUAD, Diane Boekman, M.Ed. and Kimberly Gevint, LCSW-R, work with campers who might need some extra attention during the camp day. They also communicate directly with parents to discuss any special challenge a camper might be having.
Our SMILE SQUAD ZEN DEN offers a comfortable space where campers can take a break in the action, read a book, pet our guinea pig, play a game, or just talk to Diane or Kim.
The SMILE SQUAD facilitates an off-season Parent Workshop Series to discuss relevant child development topics.
