The current Camp Pinebrook policy is that it is recommended that all campers (5 and older), who are eligible, be vaccinated. Campers in the Pre-K and entering kindergarten groups will be treated as pods like previous summers.
Campers or staff who test positive for COVID-19 must be quarantined and isolated from other campers/staff and excluded from the camp for at least 5 days. Isolation ends after 5 full days if the individual is fever-free for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication and is asymptomatic, and will be required to be masked during days 6 through 10. Individuals must wear a well-fitted mask and should social distance. If unable to wear a well-fitted mask the entire time at the facility, they may not return for 10 days.
If your camper has been exposed to someone with COVID-19 and is unvaccinated and asymptomatic, the camper must test daily with an at-home antigen test (camp is happy to provide), and must wear a mask at camp for 10 days.
If a unvaccinated camper has been exposed and has symptoms the camper must quarantine.
All policies are subject to change based on recommendation from the Westchester Department of Health and the State of NY.
