This week at Camp Pinebrook is International Week. We have been practicing saying “Good Morning” in different languages.
In addition, we have been highlighting different nationalities and cultures. We celebrate the diversity of our community.
We are mostly American, but this year we were lucky enough to have a campers and counselors join us from abroad. We have two counselors from Israel and a camper that came all the way from Shanghai. The campers have been sharing their family backgrounds.
As America is a big melting pot, so is Camp Pinebrook. We honor our similarities as well as our differences.
