Tonight, we invited the entire Camp Pinebrook community to celebrate Shabbat with us and what a Shabbat it was! The campers practiced all of their fun camp Shabbat songs like ‘Shababa-Shabbat Shalom,’ ‘Zum Gali,’ and ‘Am I Awake?’ The campers did an absolutely spectacular job performing for their parents on the Bimah, led by a variety of Rabbis and Cantor Schloss. After the service, campers and their families joined us for a community dinner of veggie dogs and hot dogs prepared by Camp Pinebrook Staff! During the dinner, counselors had the chance to meet the families of their campers and forge meaningful connections that build our community into the loving and caring one that it is. Earlier in the day, campers cooked challah to bring home and enjoy with their families.
