Eilat Elephants

Today on the blog we wanted to highlight some of our oldest campers, The Eilat Elephants! The Elephants are our seven-year-old and our second oldest group on camp. They have a great group with one camper even coming all the way from China. There’s a mix of old and new campers in the group, helping us to learn more about one another and grow our bond as a community each day.

The Elephants’ counselors are Nir, Nora, and Monica. Nir came all the way from Israel to be with us this summer. Nora teaches our nature program during the mornings and recently helped us release our first butterflies! Monica lives and goes to school in Virginia but could not be more excited to be at Camp Pinebrook this summer!

The Elephants are one of our most outgoing groups, singing the loudest at Boker Tov and always willing to step up as leaders with younger campers. They’ve even put on a few skits for the entire camp! We couldn’t imagine camp without the Elephants and just couldn’t wait to show them off.
