Boker Tov

In the mornings at Camp Pinebrook we have a very special tradition that we do every day called Boker Tov! At Boker Tov we all gather as a camp to kick off the day with some of our fun camp songs! Every day, campers are lead in “Am I Awake” and “The Shema” by our amazing song leader Roi! They also sing our ‘Boker Tov’ song, wishing everyone a good morning in Hebrew and welcoming them to camp. Being from Israel, Roi also takes this time to teach all of camp one word of Hebrew each day. Today’s word was ‘kef’ which means fun!

Boker Tov is one of the few times during the day that we get to gather as an entire camp. It’s a great bonding experience for the campers and reinforces one of our core values, community.  It’s a chance for campers to spend time with their friends from other bunks and show off their Camp Pinebrook spirit!
